Gabriel Frey, LMT
Gabriel Frey graduated from Arizona School of Integrative Studies in 2002 and has been practicing as a massage therapist for over eighteen years. His unique massage style combines training in several Western and Eastern modalities, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Connective Tissue Release, Reiki and Shamanic practice.
Gabriel believes we all contain the innate ability to heal, and he uses an intuitive approach with clients to create an ideal environment for the body to unwind. With compassionate and careful listening, he works to address physical and energetic imbalances – allowing the body towards the path of natural healing.
In addition to his work here at Back in Balance Wellness Center, Gabriel is a twelfth generation Passamaquoddy basket maker and resides in Orono with his wife and two daughters.
Kylee Allen, LMT
Kylee Allen has been in practice for over two decades, working as a massage therapist in private practice and as an instructor at Empire Beauty School.
Throughout her career, Kylee has learned that no two client sessions are alike. Everyone has their own set of life experiences and unique relationship to their body, which significantly affects their personal massage style preferences and treatment goals.
Kylee has worked to developed specialties in Pre and Post Natal Massage, PNF Stretching, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone Massage. She enjoys being a part of an integrative team and loves seeing our clients leave feeling great!
Alica Atherton-Dow, LMT
Alicia is a graduate of the Downeast School of Massage Therapy in Waldoboro, Maine. She has been practicing massage therapy in day spas and chiropractic clinics since 2010.
The proud daughter of a Maine lobsterman, Alicia, is no stranger to hard work and is committed to helping our patients feel and function at their absolute best. She understands that every person has unique challenges and preferences, and prides herself in being able to hone into the needs of each individual.
Over the years, she has helped many people find relief from head, neck, and shoulder tension – specifically TMJ-related pain. She is skilled in numerous bodywork modalities; however, she has a particular interest in Deep Tissue and Sports Massage.
